CONDITIONS OF USE START-IN-BRUSSELS© SITE
Welcome to the START-IN-BRUSSELS website, hereinafter the “Site”. This document is a legal Agreement which describes the conditions of use applicable to your use of this Site.
1.1 In this Agreement the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:
“Content” All the content contained in the Site from time to time

“Personal Information” Personal information relating to You
“Site, Provider “ The website owned and operated by CEBUDECO which can be viewed at www.CEBUDECO.com together with any other website owned and operated by CEBUDECO from time to time
“Words and Logos” The words “CEBUDECO”, “Exporters of Innovation” and their associated logos
“You, Your, Buyer, User “ Any user of the Site.
2. Provision of Content
2.1 The Content on the Site is for general information only and does not constitute advice on any specific matter. Whilst CEBUDECO makes every effort to ensure that the Content is accurate and up to date, no representation or warranty, express or implied, is made as to the accuracy or completeness of any Content.
2.2 Content which relates to products or services are compliant with the European Union internal legislation.
2.3 Content is based on certain facts and assumptions. Advice derived from the Content may not be applicable to different sets of circumstances and therefore Users should always seek appropriate advice before taking or refraining from taking any action.
2.4 The information on this Site is offered primarily to users who have a registered Business or are about to open a business in Brussels . CEBUDECO reserves the right to bar access to users who reasonably believes are private persons or who otherwise abuse the services provided by the Site.
2.5 You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Site.
You may not use the Site to send any e-mails for chain letters, commercial solicitation, mass mailing, or any other form of spam.
2.6 You may download and print one copy of the Content, provided that You retain all credits and copyright notices associated with the original of such Content.
2.7 Without prejudice to Paragraph 2.6 You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit or otherwise exploit the Content in any way. In particular, You may not include the Content in any other publication or on any other website or computer network otherwise than in accordance with the limited reproduction permission set out at Paragraph 4 and/or the prior written permission of CEBUDECO. In addition, You must abide with all other terms, conditions and restrictions contained in any other agreement associated with the Content.
3. Your Personal Information
3.1 If You wish to contact CEBUDECO by email or request further information you will be required to submit Personal Information to CEBUDECO.
3.3 You hereby undertake to notify CEBUDECO in writing in the event of any change in your Personal Information.
3.4 CEBUDECO will not collect sensitive personal information relating to your sex, health, racial or ethnic origin, political or religious beliefs without Your explicit consent.
4. Ownership of the Site and Copyright Notice
4.1 The Content and Site are protected by Belgium and International copyright and are the copyright of CEBUDECO unless otherwise stated. Reproduction of any of the Content and/or Site is prohibited other than in accordance with the limited reproduction permission set out in this Paragraph 4. All rights are reserved.
4.2 Except as expressly provided in this Agreement, You may not copy, reproduce, re¬publish, lease, sub- licence, download, post, broadcast, transmit, modify, create works from, or in any way, commercially exploit any of the Content.
4.3 In particular but without limiting the generality of the above, you may not do any of the following without the prior written permission of CEBUDECO:
4.3.1 Redistribute any of the Content (including by using it as part of any library, archive or similar service);
4.3.2 Remove the copyright notice from any copies of the Content; and
4.3.3 Create a database in electronic or manual form by systematically downloading and storing all or any of the Content;
4.3.4 Create a link to the Site or Content.
4.4 Requests to re-publish and/or re-distribute any Content should be addressed to CEBUDECO as set out at Paragraph 1.
4.5 The names and logos of other companies referred to in the Site may be the trademarks of their respective owners. You may not use any trademark or logo appearing on the Site without the prior written consent of the owner of the relevant trademark or logo.
5. Liability and Warranty
5.1 CEBUDECO warrants that it will use reasonable care and skill in preparing and presenting the Content. All other warranties express or implied, statutory or otherwise are hereby excluded to the extent permitted by law and in particular, CEBUDECO does not warrant that the Site operates error and / or virus free or operates without interruption or is compatible with all equipment and software configurations.
5.2 CEBUDECO hereby excludes to the extent permitted by law any and all liability for any loss or damage howsoever arising out of the use of the Site or reliance upon the Content.
6.1 From time to time CEBUDECO may include links to third party websites. Such links are provided for information only. CEBUDECO does not accept responsibility for the content of any of the link websites and does not accept any duty of care in respect of and nor does it make any representation express or implied in relation to the accuracy or reliability of the content of any link website; nor does the existence of any link constitute any implied endorsement of any website, its sponsor, its products or its services nor should any views expressed on that website be taken to reflect the views of CEBUDECO.
6.3 If any term or provision in this Agreement shall be held to be illegal or unenforceable, in whole or in part, under any enactment or rule of law, such term or provision or part shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of this Agreement but the validity and enforceability of the remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected.
6.4 Use of the Site by You shall constitute Your acceptance of this Agreement.
6.5 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Belgium and the European Union and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian Courts.
At CEBUDECO we believe strongly in protecting our user’s privacy. We will not wilfully disclose information about our user’s to any third party without first receiving our user’s consent.
1. Your Personal Information
All personal information you provide via the Site will be treated as private and confidential.
- CEBUDECO may compile data in aggregate form so that CEBUDECO may better understand users that visit its Site. For example, we may produce reports on the most popular search terms by collecting general search term data based on individual searches.
- CEBUDECO may send you e-mails to notify you about new products on offer, updates and features on the Site.
2. Sharing of Information
- CEBUDECO will not sell, rent, trade or giveaway any user’s personal information or email lists to third party companies.
- Emails sent to CEBUDECO may occasionally be used for testimonial purposes but will be withdrawn from the Site if requested.
- The Site may contain links to other websites. CEBUDECO is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.
CEBUDECO is committed to the security of our user’s personal information and we have security procedures in place to protect against loss, misuse or alteration of personal information under CEBUDECO’s control.

5. Opt-out Policy
To de-register from receiving emails from CEBUDECO as outlined in paragraph 1 send an email with your details to firstname.lastname@example.org with “De-register” in the subject header. We will then remove you from our database.
All removal requests will be dealt with within 28 days of receipt of the request.
6. Contacting CEBUDECO
